Roman Reigns Wins WWE World Heavyweight Championship on WWE RAW After Defeating Sheamus

Roman Reigns and Sheamus engaged in a war at WWE TLC in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Celtic Warrior’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns came up short, though, with Sheamus getting help from his fellow members of the League of Nations. This sent Roman through the roof as he laid out all three members of the stable and then took out Triple H in a brutal manner after The Authority came out to try and stop him. Things got even wilder on RAW the next night. After Stephanie McMahon opened the show by calling out Roman, slapping him, and saying that Vince McMahon would be appearing on the show, the head honcho of WWE indeed showed up and again Reigns was called out.Roman Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in tonight’s WWE RAW main event. Reigns defeated Sheamus after some interference from the League of Nations and Vince McMahon, who made his on-air return to the company. Reigns ended up talking Vince into the title match earlier in the show, with Vince threatening to fire Reigns if he didn’t win. McMahon made his return on RAW, interrupting a live match between R-Truth and Bo Dallas and simply telling them to get out of his ring. He then proceeded to address the Reigns attack of his son-in-law, Triple H, at TLC. It was at this point that fans got to see some vintage “Mr. McMahon,” and it eventually led to Reigns coming to the ring and the two having a bit of an old Austin-McMahon type of RAW segment. Eventually, Reigns punked McMahon with old age jokes until he agreed to give him a title shot tonight.
