Nicki Minaj's well-publicized discontent with the MTV Video Music Award nominations wasn't enough to keep her away from opening Sunday's show alongside brief Twitter adversary Taylor Swift. Nicki was the announced opening act for the night so this came as a shock to everyone. Great job MTV!

Chinese Cameraman On Segway Takes Down Usain Bolt World Championship

Usain Bolt was taken out by a cameraman on a wayward Segway after he won the 200m race at the World Championship in Beijing on Thursday. No, not the legs! Bolt was celebrating winning 200m gold - his 10th world title - with the crowd at the World Championships in Beijing when he was struck from behind. A smiling Bolt, who won the 100m on Sunday, did not seem to be injured and later laughed off the incident.As for the race, Bolt held off American Justin Gatlin again to claim a 10th world championship five days after nipping Gatlin at the line in the 100 meters.
