Angry Silverback Gorilla Breaks Window & Scares The Heck Out Of Zoo Visitors

A zoo gorilla cracks glass at a display at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and teaches one little girl a lesson in proper behavior in a startling YouTube video that was posted online on April 17, 2015.The video, aptly titled "Angry Gorilla Scares The Heck Out Of Zoo Visitors," shows the exact moment as the zoo gorilla cracks glass in an attempt to reach the child. The clip begins innocently enough with a shot of two gorillas and a reflection of the girl in the glass, beating her chest in what the adult gorillas presumably took as a display of aggression. A male silverback can grow to be 6 feet tall and weigh up to 500 pounds, according to the World Gorilla Foundation, so fear, alarm and running away are all perfectly reasonable reactions to such an attack. There is no word on the condition of the gorilla or what, if anything, set him off. The location is not identified, but it appears to be Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo.
