Notre Dame QB Malik Zaire Ankle Injury vs Virginia

Malik Zaire went down with an ankle injury, after his leg got folded under a Virginia defender. He had to be helped from the field. Per the broadcast, he is being taken off the field on a cart for x-rays. Kizer rallied the Fighting Irish in the fourth quarter and completed a go-ahead 39-yard touchdown pass to Will Fuller with 12 seconds left. Zaire was 7 of 18 passing for 115 yards, including a 59-yard touchdown to Fuller. He ran 10 times for 87 yards.
