Stephen Curry's Scary Fall - Head Injury vs Rockets
Warriors star Stephen Curry took a scary tumble over the back over Houston's Trevor Ariza midway through the second quarter of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Houston Rockets on Monday night and was escorted off the floor and into the locker room.
The Warriors said that Curry suffered a "head contusion" and his return was questionable. According to ESPN's broadcast, Warriors general manager Bob Myers said, "It looks like things should be OK."The Warriors star suffered what the team called a head contusion, and underwent a series of tests to rule out a concussion. After being cleared to play by the team’s doctors, he returned to the game with 5:58 left in the third quarter.A stretcher was brought out to the court, but Curry eventually got up and walked off the court on his own. The crowd at Toyota Center applauded when he got up. CBSSports.com's Ken Berger reported that he was taken to the Rockets' weight room to have X-rays. Golden State general manager Bob Myers went there to check on him, and then Curry walked on his own to the locker room.
